MOH Event-3: Stationary donation camp

Stationary donation camp

Location : Belpada,Belapur,Navi Mumbai

Activity: Stationary materials were provided to kids. Also Fun activities which had lessons for a student were conducted.

Organizers: MOH(Morsel of Hope) group

Volunters: Engineering students fron Lokmanya Tilak College,D.G.M college,Shivaji Jhondale college and

 

The session was well organized and executed with enjoyable technique. Students from class 1th to 5thtook part in the camp. More thany 8 different activity, were conducted for the student. The purpose of the activity was to make every student to realize the important of education.The activity was done in such a way,that it was fun but with learning.

The best part of the activity was the zeal and excitement seen in students for participation in activity. Fun with learning activities were admirable. The feedback, of students after every activity was astonishing . “Usally, a kid seen silent in class also participated with bliss in such activities “ a teacher said.

Stationary materials like books,writing materials,scale and eraser were donated to students. Later on students were provided with snacks.

Teacher were delighted and happy that student learnt new stuff and lessons. Students had too much fun....

These was MOH’s 3rd activity. Previous activity was named ‘KALAKAR-Tribute to soldiers’ ,which was conduced in Schools and Orphanage of Navi Mumbai. It was conducted to enhance the creativity of a student through artwork and convey their feeling to dear soldiers.

Enthusiasm- Such activity really helps student to nuture their talent. It educates them. Such activity must be conducted in every school. It boosts kids confidence, very much

Few challenges were faced by volunteers like discipline among kids, students getting hurt, lack of participation. To involve every child in each activity is difficult sometimes. Kids are introvert, shy to play and participate in activity. But these event saw remarkable participation of children with full spirit and energy.  So, the event in terms of involving kids was successful. Discipline implementing activity, were specially conducted to make kids realise the importance of discipline in school life.

Experience- Experience plays a key role, for conducting activity and implementing such event successfully. Instead of impacting more students, MOH focuses on less number but effective and efficient impact on students.

Main motto-   In india, schools are located in most remote locations also. There other than most basic facilities, nothing is available. Plans like mid-day meal, sporting events, infrastructure are lacked very much. Teachers ignore activities other than studies. So, the MOH team, decided to visit one such school and conduct various events and activities, which will create enthusiasm and creativity among students . To develop interest other than studies is one of the most important vision of MOH(Morsel of Hope).

Current scenario - Kids these day have stereotype attitude about school life. Everyday one go to school and thinks that he does monotonous work of reading, writing and listening. Very less schools, today also give least importance to extra-curriculum activities.  Such activity really, help in breaking these stereotype mentally among kids. MOH Event-2


How can we make this republic day special for society, soldiers and oneself? So a bunch of students took a small initiative to make these republic day very very very special......

An event named kalakar was organised in schools of Navi Mumbai. The main focus of the event was to enhance the creativity of a student through artwork and also to convey ones feeling to our dear soldiers.

Student in very large numbers participated in the event. The theme of the event was 'Students message to soldiers' Students had to describe his feelings and respect to soldiers through ones artwork and creativity. Further their messages would reach to soldiers as soon as possible.

The event was held in English, Marathi and Urdu medium schools on 20 &21 January.  Student from class 5-8 participated in the event. More than 2000 thousand students participated in 'Kaalakar'. The artwork showed so much positivity, patriotism and creativity of young minds. The response of teachers, Principal & Non-teaching members was very encouraging
With the sketch, one was allowed to write a or two lines. A patriotic vibe was seen in participants and organizers. The event was organised by Morsale of hope (MOH) and MESA commitee of AC.  Patil college of engineering.
Further many such inspirational social events are planned by 'MOH' in upcoming days.
Such adorable, eye catching, A beautiful msg by a 5th class student read "I'm am feeling you dear soldier ". Various such beautiful messages were conveyed by children.While reading such beautiful messages "These igorant mind are so truthful and inspiring" Principal of a anjuman islam-I said. 'We were blessed to see such artwork' organiser said.

Overall 'Kalaakar' got huge response and was very successful in conveying it's theme of encouraging creativity and patriotism in students.
